           Bemidji Regional Airport Terminal

The economic arteries of any community are its transportation system. The ease at which goods, services and people move in and out a community help determine its economic viability. Bemidji scores high in this regard with an expanding Regional Airport served by Mesaba/Northwest which makes multiple flights to the Twin Cities each day. Early morning flights out of Bemidji land passengers in almost any airport in the US and Canada by noontime. It further has a full service Fixed Base Operator providing charter air service. The Bemidji area has eight trucking firms that handle freight shipping needs in the region and around the entire U.S. Federal highways 2 and 71 intersect in Bemidji providing east-west and north-south access. Jefferson Bus Lines provides inter-city transportation and two transit systems meet intra-city transportation needs.
