Project Lead the Way
Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a national non-profit organization established to help schools give students the knowledge they need to excel in high-tech fields. Studies of PLTW’s curriculum have proven that PLTW students become the kind of prepared, competent high tech employees U.S. industries need to stay competitive in the global market.
PLTW is centered on the idea of bringing pre-engineering curriculum and concepts to students through practical applications while forming their opinions about careers and interests.
Project Lead the Way was introduced into the curriculum of Bemidji High School in the Fall of 2005 and began being offered in the Bemidji Middle School the Fall of 2006.
