Financing
The Greater Bemidji Area has a number of options for financing your business from traditional sources such as banks to non-profit organizations that provide gap financing. Some of the banks and funding agencies would include the following:
The Joint Economic Development Commission has provided over $2.5 million in gap financing loans to both existing and new businesses. The majority of those loans were made in partnership with area banks. The JEDC can provide financing for building construction, equipment and working capital. It also makes short term equity investments in companies in our service area.

Job Opportunity Building Zones (JOBZ) A new & exciting tool to stimulate business activity in greater Minnesota. Eligible businesses in a zone will operate in an environment nearly free of state & local taxes.
